Concept: I created a print and digital poster to advertise a gallery exhibit showing the master's projects of my fellow graduate students.
Inspiration: I was inspired by @posterlad on Instagram who is an amazing abstract poster artist. I love his use of color and shapes to create a retro yet modern look. Because everyone's projects are so different, I had the freedom to design whatever I wanted :)
Challenges: I've never designed anything like this before so it took a while to get into the mindset of focusing on composition and color rather than content. In the end I had a lot of fun working my design skills in a different way and hope to create in this style again in the future.
