The Observer Redesign, 2019
Concept: Create a new style guide for The La Grande Observer, a small tri-weekly publication in Northeast Oregon. I designed both layouts below; the first example is before the redesign, and the second example is after.
Work: Found new font for headlines, subheads, body copy and pull quotes, changed to justified columns instead of ragged right, updated social media icons in front page header, reformatted pull quote design
